How we trade

From origin to discharge port, step by step

Every Sofico Le Baron shipment follows the same route: qualified sourcing, independent inspection, the right transport for the cargo, and delivery against complete documents.

01Process

Four steps, every shipment

  1. 01

    Sourcing

We source from suppliers at origin who pass our due diligence, and we fix the product specification before anything is signed.

    • Supplier checks and sanctions screening
    • Specification, quantity and tolerance agreed in writing
    • Origin and loading port confirmed in the contract
  2. 02

    Independent inspection

Quality and quantity are verified by an independent surveyor at the loading port, not by the seller.

    • Sampling and analysis against the contract specification
    • Weight and quantity checks at loading
    • Certificates of quality and quantity issued by the surveyor
  3. 03

    Logistics

We match the transport to the cargo, the volume and the discharge port.
